IJNS forthcoming Special Issue: Child Health Care
The International Journal of Nursing Studies journal will be publishing a Special Issue in 2012 devoted to the urgent challenges in child health care.
The importance of understanding and intervening to improve childhood determinants of adult health is only beginning to be understood. Recent reports from global organisations recognise that the healthy growth and development of children should be a prime concern across all societies.
As the largest group of healthcare providers, nurses play a crucial role in the health of children and as a result the International Journal of Nursing Studies will be seeking reviews, original research articles and evidence-based manuscripts that address key issues in child health and which address the implications for nursing clinical practice, education, and research.
Given the multidisciplinary nature of child health care, and the global scrutiny on this topic, the journal looks forward to welcoming papers from all health care disciplines and all geographical regions.
